The Four Corners Child Advocacy Center’s (FCCAC) Mental Health Therapist will provide counseling services to children, adolescents and periodic conjoint sessions with non-offending family members on-site, off-site, and via tele-therapy who have been direct or indirect victims of physical and/or sexual abuse, neglect, and/or who have witnessed family violence; including youth with problematic sexual behaviors.
This therapist must have a willingness to work with children with problematic sexual behaviors (PSB). The ideal applicant will have a motivation to be trained in this specialized area of trauma work if not already trained. FCCAC will fund this specialized training.
This is a 32-hour a week job with 10 hrs/wk focused on PSB, 12 hrs/wk on trauma-focused therapy and related duties, and 10 hrs/wk on administration tasks. The FCCAC offers a competitive wage starting at $28/hr for a therapist who is in need of PSB training but is higher for a candidate with PSB TF-CBT experience. The rate increases once training is complete.
