Four Corners Child Advocacy Center is seeking a full-time child & family advocate.
The Child/Victim Advocate is responsible for promoting a child friendly, supportive environment at the Child Advocacy Center by providing crisis support, system information, and community resources for children and their families who participate in an investigation of child abuse or for children who have witnessed traumatic and violent crime.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have experience working with children and families, have knowledge of child development and be familiar with local and state resources for child victims of abuse. Candidate preferred to possess either a Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, sociology, education, or criminal justice (negotiable) and/or have extensive related work experience. Training will be provided upon hire, if needed.
Salary & Benefits:
$37,440-$40,000 dependent on experience. Insurance available after probation period.
